Grove Estate, nestled in the beautiful Hilltops region of NSW, is a family-owned winery established by Brian Mullany and Suellen Patterson. The vineyards, first planted on their wedding day in 1989, now span 100 hectares, comprising varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Merlot, Zinfandel, Barbera, Sangiovese, Petit Verdot, Chardonnay, Semillon, and Nebbiolo. Grove Estate's journey began with the establishment of a Cellar Door in 1999, located in a former cherrypickers' shed, symbolizing the estate's humble beginnings and growth into a renowned winemaker, in partnership with acclaimed winemakers including Tim Kirk and Bryan Martin.
Embracing the unique terroir of Hilltops' red volcanic soils, Grove Estate has gained acclaim for its cool-climate, award-winning wines, including prestigious awards such as the Jimmy Watson in 2010 and the Finest Shiraz in Australia in 2014. This success is attributed to the deep understanding and experience the family has developed over the years, creating wines that reflect the distinct characteristics of their land.
