Moppity Vineyards, established in 1973, is a winery located near Young in Southern New South Wales, in the Hilltops region. The 170-acre vineyard includes some of the oldest vines in the area, planted across diverse soils that influence the character of the wines. Since acquiring the vineyard in 2004, Jason and Alecia Brown have focused on creating medium-bodied wines that reflect the vineyard’s specific conditions.
At Moppity Vineyards, visitors can explore the range of wines through a visit to the tasting room. The experience highlights the vineyard's focus on high-altitude, cool-climate wines, allowing guests to sample varietals that reflect the distinct qualities of the Hilltops region.
