Copperhead Wines is a boutique producer located in the parish of Yering in Yarra Valley. With a focus on quality viticulture and winemaking, the estate benefits from the region’s high diurnal temperature variation, which promotes slow ripening and enhances fruit character. This careful approach results in wines that showcase the unique terroir of Yarra Valley.
Specializing in cool-climate varieties, Copperhead Wines offers a selection of handcrafted wines, including Pinot Noir, Shiraz, and Cabernet Sauvignon. With over 30 years of horticultural experience, owners Hans and Anna Orth have applied their deep understanding of the land to cultivate a vineyard that produces wines of balance and elegance.
Wine tastings at Copperhead Wines are an intimate experience, conducted by appointment in the estate’s picturesque gardens. Available from October to March, these private tastings offer guests the chance to enjoy the wines in a serene outdoor setting, guided by knowledgeable hosts.
A dedicated cellar door is in development, promising a future space for guests to further explore the range.

Bookings are required for all wine tastings, which are available by appointment from Monday to Friday from October to March inclusive. Tastings are private and limited to a maximum of 12 guests per session.
