Punt Road Wines is a family-owned winery in Yarra Valley, producing cool-climate wines that reflect the rich history of its Coldstream estate. Originally planted with vines in the 1860s, the property has been farmed by the Napoleone family since 1948. Today, the third and fourth generations continue the legacy, crafting wines that showcase the nuances of their site.
The estate spans 58 hectares, with key varieties including Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Cabernet Sauvignon, Gamay, and Shiraz. Winemaker Jarrod Johnson focuses on low-intervention techniques to allow the fruit and terroir to take center stage, with careful vineyard management and a thoughtful approach to oak maturation.
