Centennial Vineyards, the only five-star winery in the Southern Highlands, is a renowned establishment near the historic township of Bowral, New South Wales. Set at an altitude of over 760 meters, this premium cool climate vineyard specializes in producing wines with enhanced flavor and intensity due to the slow ripening of grapes. Their Bowral Vineyard, spanning 80 acres, cultivates a variety of early-ripening varietals, including traditional Champagne varieties. Additionally, their Bridge Creek Vineyard in the warmer Orange region focuses on sustainable farming and is moving towards organic certification.
The Centennial Vineyards cellar door welcomes visitors daily from 10 am to 5 pm. This destination offers a chance to sample their internationally acclaimed wines, which have garnered over 1000 medals and trophies. Adjacent to the cellar door is the Centennial Vineyards Restaurant, which boasts stunning views across the vineyards and offers a perfect setting for a relaxed country lunch with fine wine and great food.
