Tallarida Vineyard is a family-run boutique winery located in Mornington Peninsula, producing cool-climate wines with a strong focus on Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Established in the mid-1980s by Rocco Domenico Tallarida, the vineyard spans 25 acres in the lush Boneo plains, a region known for its rich soils and maritime influences. The winery processes fruit from its own vineyard as well as select parcels from other local growers, ensuring a diverse and high-quality selection of wines.
With a history deeply embedded in Australia's wine and engineering industries, the Tallarida family continues to honour Rocco’s passion for winemaking. In addition to its renowned Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, the vineyard also cultivates Pinot Grigio, Merlot, and Cabernet, creating a variety of styles that reflect the unique terroir of the region.
The cellar door at Tallarida Vineyard offers an intimate and relaxed tasting experience, set amongst the barrels of the historic winery. Guests can enjoy an estate tasting or a glass of wine, gin, or limoncello while taking in the peaceful surroundings. Outdoor seating is available on the deck, and visitors are welcome to bring a picnic rug to make the most of the picturesque setting.
A grazing menu is available, featuring artisan cheese platters and small bites, designed to complement the wines on offer. The winery is pet-friendly, allowing dogs on leads to accompany their owners while they unwind and enjoy the estate's welcoming atmosphere.

Bookings are recommended for groups larger than six to ensure a personalised experience at the cellar door. Wine tastings are available for a small fee, and visitors are encouraged to stay and explore the vineyard with a glass in hand. The winery is open from Friday to Monday, with estate tastings and grazing options available throughout the day. Tour groups are also welcome with prior arrangement.
