The cellar door at Sutherland Estate is a striking space, designed to take full advantage of its elevated position. With enormous floor-to-ceiling windows and a soaring 13-metre ceiling, guests can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the vineyard, Yarra Valley, and distant mountain ranges. The multi-level timber deck provides a perfect setting for outdoor tastings, while the cosy indoor space, complete with an open fire, offers a welcoming retreat during cooler months.
Visitors can taste the full range of estate wines at the bar, or settle in with a glass of wine and a cheese board at a barrel table. The atmosphere is relaxed yet refined, making it an ideal spot to unwind while soaking in the natural beauty of the Yarra Valley.

The cellar door is open on weekends and most public holidays from 10am to 5pm. Tastings are available at the bar without the need for a booking, but for larger groups or private functions, advance reservations are recommended. Guests can also enjoy wine by the glass, accompanied by a cheese board. Sutherland Estate is also a sought-after venue for weddings and private events, offering exclusive use of its picturesque location for special occasions.
