Aaron, a Hunter Valley native with over 20 years of experience, is known for his expertise in organic and preservative-free winemaking. His approach blends traditional techniques with innovative practices, resulting in a diverse range of wines that reflect both the character of their varietals and the regions they come from.
Mercer Wines offers an alternative to traditional selections, featuring unique varietals like Montepulciano and Barbera alongside classic Hunter Valley expressions such as Chardonnay and Shiraz.
The newly opened Mercer Wines Cellar Door on Hermitage Road offers a relaxed setting to explore these distinctive wines. Guests can enjoy tastings in a beautiful outdoor space or cozy indoor seating.
The cellar door features a range of experiences, including a tasting of six wines paired with local accompaniments, and a Limited Release tasting with local Binnorie cheese. Each session is designed to showcase the unique qualities of Mercer’s wines, providing both an educational and enjoyable experience.
