Tintilla Estate is a charming, family-run winery nestled in the picturesque Pokolbin region. Founded in 1994, it boasts a boutique, single-vineyard which produces a unique range of award-winning wines, olive products and locally grown food experiences.
The winemakers, James and Robert Lusby, cultivate a wide variety of wines that reflect the region's natural terroir. Making Shiraz, Semillon, and Chardonnay in the classic Hunter style. The highly rated Hunter Shiraz and Justine Merlot are reds to remember, grown on clay and limestone soils. The classic Hunter Semillon, The Angus, is a white wine with a unique flavour due to the Hunter Valley's mid to late summer rainfall and a mix of warm climate, sandy Rothbury creek bed and clay on limestone soil types.
