Wotton Family Wines has been part of the Piccadilly Valley landscape for over 150 years. Originally a fruit-growing and market gardening property, the family transitioned to grape growing in 1994, with a focus on producing premium cool-climate wines that reflect the unique terroir of Adelaide Hills.
Specialising in Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, Wotton Family Wines showcases the elegance and finesse these varieties achieve in the region’s cool conditions. The vineyard produces limited releases of carefully crafted wines, including museum selections that highlight the ageing potential of their range.
Located in the Piccadilly Valley, the Wotton Family Wines cellar door is housed in a converted shed that offers a welcoming and contemporary space to explore their wines. Wine flights, glasses, and bottles are available for tasting and takeaway, allowing visitors to enjoy the full expression of Wotton’s cool-climate styles.
Guests are encouraged to take their glass of wine to the outdoor pavilion, where they can unwind with a cheese platter while taking in the stunning vineyard views. The relaxed, family-run atmosphere makes for an inviting and immersive tasting experience.
