Casa Freschi is an artisan winery producing single-vineyard wines from two distinct South Australian regions—Adelaide Hills and Langhorne Creek. Founded in 1998 by vigneron David Freschi, the winery follows organic and minimal intervention principles, ensuring that each wine reflects the unique characteristics of its site. The Altezza Vineyard in the Adelaide Hills produces elegant cool-climate whites, while the Profondo Vineyard in Langhorne Creek offers rich, structured reds.
With a winemaking philosophy shaped by Italian heritage and international experience, Casa Freschi is known for its small-batch, hand-crafted wines. The range includes Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, Riesling, Gewürztraminer, Nebbiolo, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, and Malbec, each cultivated with sustainable practices and minimal additives to preserve purity and balance.
Casa Freschi’s intimate tasting room is set within the Altezza Vineyard in Ashton, offering a serene and immersive wine experience.
