Established in 2009 by Mark Tynan, Tynan Wines is an artisan winery located in Salamander Bay, Port Stephens. Mark, with his Master in Viticulture and Oenology from Charles Sturt University, focuses on crafting small batches of premium wines. These wines are made using the finest grapes sourced from various regions in NSW and Australia, including Canberra, Orange, Hunter Valley, and Mudgee. Booking a wine tasting at Tynan Wines is straightforward and accessible. While walk-ins are welcome, it's recommended to book in advance to ensure a seamless experience. The winery offers a range of tasting experiences for different group sizes, all of which are free of charge. Each session lasts for an hour, where visitors can taste up to 8 different wines. For those looking to elevate their tasting experience, the winery also offers cheese boards and artisan chocolates as add-ons.
Large groups are welcome, but it's advisable to book in advance to accommodate everyone comfortably. The maximum group size for bookings is 10 people.
