Mayfield Vineyard, established in 1999 in the renowned Orange wine region, is a boutique winery owned by the Eastham Family. Guided by viticulturist Charles Simons, the vineyard is dedicated to producing high-quality cool climate wines that reflect the unique character of the region. Winemaker Drew Tuckwell crafts a variety of wines, including Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and Pinot Noir, using minimal intervention and sustainable practices to highlight the vineyard's distinctive terroir.
Mayfield Vineyard's cellar door is situated in a charming old School House on Icely Road, surrounded by picturesque vineyards and tranquil lakes. Open Thursday through Sunday, the tasting room invites guests to sample a diverse range of wines, including Riesling, Rosé, and Sparkling White. The serene setting, complemented by stunning views, makes it an ideal destination to explore the Eastern Heritage Trail of Orange.
