Holm Oak is a family-owned winery in Tasmania's Tamar Valley, dedicated to producing expressive cool-climate wines. Established in 2006 by winemaker Bec Duffy and viticulturist Tim Duffy, Holm Oak has built a reputation for pushing boundaries while staying true to Tasmania’s renowned winemaking heritage. With a hands-on approach from vineyard to bottle, the Duffys craft a diverse range of wines, including Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Riesling, Arneis, and Cabernet Franc.
The vineyard itself has a unique history, originally planted in the 1980s on land once intended for Holm Oak trees used in tennis racquet production. Now, these mature vines contribute to wines that are distinctive and full of character. Holm Oak’s winemaking philosophy balances tradition with innovation, resulting in wines that are genuine, authentic, and reflective of their Tamar Valley terroir.
