Gala Estate, located on Tasmania's East Coast, is one of the oldest family-run wineries in the region, with a heritage dating back to 1821. Founded by Scottish brothers Adam and John Amos, the estate has been passed down through generations, maintaining a strong connection to the land and its history. Today, Gala Estate is known for producing high-quality wines, particularly its acclaimed Pinot Noir, alongside a diverse range of varietals including Syrah, Chardonnay, Riesling, Rosé, Pinot Gris, and Sauvignon Blanc.
The Gala Estate Cellar Door offers an intimate and personalised wine tasting experience, set within the scenic surroundings of Cranbrook. Open by appointment, the cellar door allows guests to explore the estate’s portfolio through curated tastings designed to highlight the character of each varietal. Visitors can choose from three tasting tiers: the White Label Flight, showcasing new releases; the Black Label Flight, featuring Single Estate wines; and The Reds, a vertical tasting focused on the iconic Constable Amos Pinot Noir.
