Established in 1968, Bimbadgen Estate is a renowned winery in the heart of Pokolbin, Hunter Valley. With over 50 years of expertise, Bimbadgen produces premium wines that reflect the unique characteristics of the region.
The winery is particularly known for its Semillon, Chardonnay, and Shiraz. The winemakers, Richard Done and Sam Boyd, have also created a range of Single Vineyard wines that showcase the importance of each vineyard's soil type, resulting in the extraordinary Signature Range.

They've innovatively twisted the classic Hunter Valley varietals with their sparkling range, offering six different sparkling wines, including sparkling Semillon, Cuvee, Rose, and the aromatic Moscato. The winery's name, derived from the local Indigenous language meaning 'place of good view', is a testament to its picturesque location and the breathtaking views it offers of the surrounding vineyards and Barrington Ranges.

Bimbadgen Estate offers a variety of tasting experiences to suit every palate. The 'Signature Experience' at $20 per person allows you to sample the Single Vineyard wines, while the 'Sparkling Experience' at $15 per person is perfect for those who love all things bubbly. For a broader tasting, the 'Grower’s Experience' at $10 per person offers a taste of traditional Hunter Valley varieties and newer emerging ones.
While walk-ins are accepted, we recommend making a booking to ensure availability. Tasting experiences start from $10 per person and reservations are required for all groups. Please note that children are included in the tasting numbers.
