Tapanappa Wines represents the vision of pioneering winemaker Brian Croser, dedicated to producing world-class wines from South Australia’s most distinguished sites. Established in the early 2000s, Tapanappa continues Croser’s legacy of matching noble varieties to their ideal terroir, with a focus on Chardonnay from the historic Tiers Vineyard in the Adelaide Hills, as well as Pinot Noir and Cabernet blends from carefully selected vineyard sites.
With meticulous vineyard management and a philosophy rooted in terroir expression, Tapanappa’s wines are recognised for their purity, depth, and sense of place. The winery also partners with DAOSA and Terre à Terre, offering visitors a comprehensive tasting experience of premium Adelaide Hills and Limestone Coast wines.
Set in the picturesque Piccadilly Valley, Tapanappa’s Cellar Door offers a refined and immersive tasting experience. Overlooking the historic Tiers Vineyard, the space provides an elegant yet relaxed atmosphere to explore the winery’s portfolio. Guests can sample wines from Tapanappa, DAOSA, and Terre à Terre, with guided tastings that highlight the distinct characteristics of each site and vintage.

Bookings are recommended for all tastings, with a maximum group size of eight guests. Tasting experiences range from introductory selections to distinguished single-vineyard and back-vintage tastings. Larger groups and private bookings can be arranged with advance notice.
