Pike & Joyce, a partnership between two South Australian families, combines traditional winemaking practices with modern innovation to produce wines that highlight the unique terroir of the Adelaide Hills. Situated on the steep, north and east-facing slopes of Lenswood, the vineyard spans 25 hectares, transitioning from orchards to vines ideally suited for cool climate varieties. Hand-pruned and hand-picked, the vineyard produces Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, and Nebbiolo, among others. Careful vineyard management and a cool room chilling process before vinification at Pikes Clare Valley winery ensure wines that reflect the freshness and texture of the Lenswood site.
The collaboration between the Pike family, with its winemaking legacy, and the Joyce family, known for generations of horticulture, is built on shared expertise and passion. This partnership celebrates South Australia’s rich agricultural and winemaking traditions, producing wines that reflect both heritage and innovation.
The Pike & Joyce Tasting Room offers a welcoming space to experience the estate’s cool climate wines, set against panoramic views of the Onkaparinga Valley.
