Misty Glen, located in the Hunter Valley, is a boutique winery producing wines from five grape varieties: Semillon, Chardonnay, Chambourcin, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Shiraz. Alongside its wines, the vineyard offers a three-bedroom self-contained cottage, providing guests with the option of a longer, relaxing stay in the heart of wine country.
At Misty Glen's Cellar Door, visitors are welcomed ito taste wines around old oak barrels or in the picturesque rose garden. The Cellar Door experience is further enriched by the option to order a picnic, enjoy the vineyard views, and engage in games like boules or croquet. Additionally, a special kids' zone and the presence of friendly dogs underscore Misty Glen’s commitment to a family-friendly atmosphere.

To make the most of a visit, Misty Glen recommends booking tastings in advance. Tastings are available for $10 per person, with a $3 fee for non-drinkers, which includes bottled water. Children are welcome to join at no charge. Picnic boxes can be arranged with 48 hours’ notice, with pricing based on group size and optional wine tasting. The vineyard is open on weekends, most public holidays, and by request, offering flexibility for all visitors.
