Originally an orchard and herb farm, the estate was transformed into a vineyard in 1994 and is now owned by the Pellicano family. Focused on sustainable viticulture, Mantons Creek produces small-batch wines with minimal organic inputs, ensuring each varietal—from Riesling to Cabernet Sauvignon—expresses the distinct terroir of the estate.
Under the expertise of winemaker Michael Kyberd, Mantons Creek follows a philosophy of minimal intervention, allowing the unique character of each vintage to shine. With experience both locally and internationally, Kyberd’s approach emphasises quality and craftsmanship, offering wines that are a true reflection of the Mornington Peninsula’s maritime climate and soils.
The Cellar Door at Mantons Creek Estate provides an intimate and relaxed setting for guests to sample its award-winning wines. Open from Friday to Sunday, visitors can enjoy a seated tasting of seven wines or opt for a curated Wine Flight featuring four signature wines, with optional paired food bites. Set against the backdrop of the estate’s vineyards, the tasting experience combines premium wines with culinary delights, reflecting the estate’s dedication to quality and hospitality.
