Ocean Eight is a family-owned winery in Shoreham on the Mornington Peninsula, producing small-batch wines from its 17-hectare vineyard. Specialising in Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Pinot Gris, the winery focuses on wines that reflect the region’s cool maritime climate. Owner and winemaker Mike Aylward has drawn inspiration from Burgundy, shaping Ocean Eight’s wines to be bright, structured, and food-friendly.
Since its inception, Ocean Eight has been dedicated to creating wines that age well while staying true to the distinct conditions of the Mornington Peninsula. The Cellar Door at Ocean Eight provides a relaxed setting for wine tastings, where visitors can sample the full range of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, and Rosé.
