Lillypilly Estate, established in 1972 in Leeton, southern New South Wales, is a testament to the Fiumara family's dedication to winemaking. The family's journey began in the 1950s, evolving from selling fresh produce to creating a strong family business centered around wine. Robert Fiumara, the winery's founder, was inspired by his family to develop a range of high-quality wines that capture the unique climate and flavors of the Riverina region. Lillypilly is celebrated for its diverse wine range, including dry, sweet, dessert, and fortified wines, with its Tramillon and Red Velvet being distinctive to the winery. The winery's ability to produce world-class botrytis wines is a result of the region's semi-arid climate, which is ideal for the development of the botrytis fungus necessary for these sweet wines.
The Cellar Door at Lillypilly Estate Wines in the Riverina region offers visitors the opportunity to explore their award-winning range, including their renowned dessert and fortified wines. Open Monday to Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm and by appointment on Sundays, the Cellar Door provides an inviting environment for guests to discover unique wines like Tramillon® and Red Velvet®.
