Hunter Wine Lab is a boutique, family-owned working winery and cellar door in Pokolbin, in the heart of the Hunter Valley.
The cellar door is located inside the winery where Hunter Wine Lab wines are made onsite, giving visitors the opportunity to experience wine where it is actually produced.
Guests can enjoy a relaxed Signature Wine Tasting, a guided Wine & Chocolate Pairing, or go behind the scenes with Growing to Glass — a two-hour vineyard and working winery experience including a barrel tasting where suitable wine is available and a guided tasting of up to eight wines.
Private, group, and corporate wine experiences are also available.
The Cellar Door at Hunter Wine Lab offers visitors a unique opportunity to explore small batch, handcrafted wines alongside beer on tap. Guests can choose to relax in the scenic outdoor area, experience the ambiance of the barrel room, or take a tour of the working winery. A highlight of the visit is the chocolate tasting experience, which pairs six handmade chocolates with selected wines, creating a delightful sensory exploration.

Walk-ins are welcome for wine tastings where space allows, although bookings are recommended, particularly on weekends. Advance booking is required for Growing to Glass. Experiences include the Signature Wine Tasting, Wine & Chocolate Pairing, and Growing to Glass vineyard and working winery experience.
