Fenian Wines is a boutique producer in the rural hinterland of Mornington Peninsula, specialising in small-batch Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Pinot Gris. Established by winemaker Eammon (Ed) Donnelly, the label was born from a love of winemaking and a commitment to expressing the unique characteristics of estate-grown fruit.
The vineyard at Sandstone Estate spans 6.5 acres and benefits from red clay and brown loam soils, which contribute to the mineral structure of the white wines and the earthiness of the Pinot Noirs. The cool-climate conditions and east-west vine orientation allow for a slower ripening process, ideal for producing refined, balanced wines. Minimal intervention is key, ensuring each vintage showcases the best qualities of the fruit and terroir.
The cellar door at Fenian Wines offers an intimate tasting experience in a relaxed setting, with guests welcome to enjoy wines inside or on the deck overlooking the vineyard and water. Tastings include a selection of estate-grown wines, reflecting the winemaker’s dedication to quality and craftsmanship.
Cheese platters are available to purchase, making for a perfect pairing with a glass of wine. The casual and welcoming atmosphere encourages guests to sit back, unwind, and explore the unique flavours of Fenian Wines.

Bookings are recommended for all tastings, especially for groups of six or more. The cellar door is open every Saturday and on both days of the first weekend of each month, with extended hours during the summer season. Private tastings are available by appointment.
