Andrew Peace Wines, a family-owned winery for over 40 years, is rooted in the fertile soil along the Murray River. Established in the 1960s, the vineyard produced its first vintage in 1995 and has since grown into one of Australia's largest family-owned wineries. Starting with a grape intake of 1,711 tonnes, the winery now crushes over 43,000 tonnes annually. By combining modern technology with sound business practices, Andrew Peace Wines has earned recognition as one of the top 20 Australian wine exporters, sharing their wines globally.
The unique terroir of Andrew Peace Wines is shaped by the geology, soil, and climate of the Murray River system. The semi-arid climate, located more than 400km inland, features hot summers and mild winters, similar to a continental climate. The sandy and clay soils, comparable to those found in Champagne and Burgundy, provide ideal conditions for growing both red and white grape varieties, contributing to the distinctive character of their wines.
The Cellar Door at Andrew Peace Wines offers a broad selection of wines, ranging from reds such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Durif, Malbec, Merlot, Pinot Noir, and Shiraz, to whites like Chenin Blanc, Moscato, Pinot Gris, Riesling, and Sauvignon Blanc.
