Revived by the Yeates family in 2010, the vineyard is one of the oldest in the area, benefiting from fertile soil that supports consistent, high-quality production. The winery reflects the family’s commitment to preserving Mudgee’s winemaking heritage while producing exceptional wines.
Yeates Wines offers a selection that includes Riesling, Rosé, Shiraz, and a Reserve Shiraz Cabernet Sauvignon blend. For something different, the winery also features a non-alcoholic Shiraz Cordial, providing a unique addition to their offerings and appealing to a broader audience.
The Craigmoor Road tasting room at Yeates Wines provides a welcoming space for visitors to explore their range of wines. Guests can enjoy a structured tasting or relax on the lawn with a glass or bottle of their choice. Light snacks, including a cheese and charcuterie platter, are available to complement the experience.

You can expect the following from a tasting at YEATES:
Bookings are highly recommended at Yeates Wines, particularly for groups. The winery can accommodate groups of up to 20 people, though formal tastings are only available for groups of 10 or fewer. Larger groups will be seated on the lawn on Saturdays. While walk-ins are welcome, booking in advance does not guarantee indoor seating, especially on rainy days.
