Yeates Wines is known for its range of wines that are true to the Mudgee region, including a Riesling, Rosé, Shiraz, and a Reserve Shiraz Cabernet Sauvignon blend. In a unique twist, Yeates also offers a non-alcoholic Shiraz Cordial, making it a must-visit for those seeking a unique wine tasting experience in the Mudgee region.
Visitors to Yeates Wines can expect a delightful wine tasting experience in the Craigmoor Road tasting room. Here, you can enjoy a structured tasting of their full range of wines or relax on the lawn with a glass or bottle of your choice.
For those looking to extend their visit, Yeates offers on-site accommodation at the vineyard, as well as in the historic town of Rylstone nearby. The winery also provides light snacks at the cellar door, including a cheese and charcuterie platter, adding to the overall experience.
You can expect the following from a tasting at YEATES:
Bookings at Yeates Wines are highly recommended. The winery can accommodate groups up to 20 people per booking, but formal tastings are not offered for groups over 10 people. On Saturdays, larger groups will be seated outside on the lawn. While walk-ins are welcome, booking ahead does not guarantee seating inside, especially on rainy days.
The winery kindly requests that children, pets, and larger groups remain outside during their visit due to limited space in the tasting room.
