Wine Tasting at Heslop

Established in 2011, Heslop Wines is a family-owned boutique winery nestled in the heart of the Mudgee wine region. Renowned for its commitment to sustainable winemaking, Heslop Wines boasts small batches of handcrafted premium wine produced with minimal intervention. The family's sustainable approach involves hand-picking and pruning, strategic irrigation, and the use of solar power. Their winemaking methods are rooted in tradition with a gentle touch, involving gentle crushing, hand plunging, and basket pressing.

The winemaker, Robert Heslop, creates a diverse range of wines, including Rosé, Vermentino, and Chardonnay, crafted in a unique Mudgee style. Their vineyard is home to traditional and alternative varieties, including the award-winning Touriga Nacional and Zinfandel.

Founded on a dream of creating a boutique winery, the Heslop family returned to Mudgee in the mid-1980s. They have since made a name for themselves in the industry for their traditional blends, innovative styles, and family favourites, all crafted with care and attention to detail.
