Swinging Bridge, a family-owned winery in the heart of the Orange region, was established in 1995. It stands out for its dedication to producing top-quality wines that epitomise the unique terroir of the region. Located on the slopes around Mount Canobolas, the winery is renowned for its high altitude winemaking, particularly excelling in Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Winemaker Tom Ward brings a blend of innovation and tradition to the craft, positioning Swinging Bridge at the forefront of Orange's cool-climate winemaking scene. Their wines not only showcase the region's unique provenance but also reflect the winemaker's enduring passion for his craft.
Swinging Bridge's offerings extend to a variety of cool climate wines, including Sparkling White, Riesling, Shiraz, Gamay, Pinot Gris, and Tempranillo. The wines are crafted to capture the essence of the high altitude terrain and the unique characteristics of each variety.
At the Swinging Bridge tasting room, visitors can immerse themselves in a boutique winery experience that includes cheese boards and a restaurant setting. The winery offers a range of experiences such as 'Explore Hill Park', a 90-minute guided tour of the Hill Park vineyard with tastings of consecutive vintages, and 'Indulge with Swinging Bridge', a 3-hour experience including a guided vineyard tour and a 4-course degustation lunch. The 'Savour with Swinging Bridge' experience allows guests to enjoy wine and food pairings, featuring seven of their wines paired with canapés designed by their in-house chef and sommeliers.
