Ortus Wines is a family-operated winery located in McLaren Vale. Founded in 2013 by mother-daughter team Julie and Paige Cooper, the winery reflects their commitment to hard work and a deep connection to the land. The family’s winemaking legacy traces back to the 1840s in the Barossa Valley, with their ancestors cultivating some of the region’s earliest vineyards.
Ortus Wines focuses on estate-grown Shiraz, carefully managed and produced on their 26-acre vineyard. Julie and Paige are involved in every stage of production, ensuring that their wines showcase the character of the McLaren Vale region while continuing their family’s tradition of dedication and quality.
