Moothi Estate is a charming family-owned boutique winery, proudly standing on the rolling hills of Mudgee since 1995. Initially planted with classic varietals like Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Chardonnay, the Estate has since diversified their vineyards, now spanning 17 hectares, with additional grapes including Pinot Grigio, Riesling and Viognier.
Moothi Estate offers a broad range of wines, including locally inspired varieties such as Riesling, Viognier, and Verdelho. Besides, this estate is also blessed with a cherry orchard of over 2,000 'Simone' variety trees, enhancing the local produce used in their kitchen.
Located on Rocky Waterhole Road, Moothi Estate invites you for an immersive wine tasting experience. For a modest $5, guests can enjoy seated wine flights, curated from their extensive wine range to provide a memorable experience.
However, it's not just about wine at Moothi. The estate's passion for regional produce is evident in their menu, featuring a selection of locally-sourced delicacies. From famous share platters laden with cheeses, cold meats, and relishes to a constantly updated dine-in menu that reflects the best of Mudgee’s seasonal produce, there's a gastronomic delight awaiting every visitor. There are two options available when making your reservation. For those looking to sample the wine offerings, the TASTING option provides a 60-minute session. If you'd like to couple your wine tasting with a meal, select the LUNCH option, allowing you 90 minutes to enjoy Moothi Estate's regional cuisine alongside their exquisite wines
