ThumbPrint Wines is a boutique winery nestled in the picturesque region of Mudgee, owned by Lyn and Bob Christian. The property, known as 'Bungaroo', has been in their possession for 25 years and has seen the establishment of the trademark ThumbPrint Wines.
In addition to the vineyard, the estate also grows olives, cherries, and pomegranates. The residence has been renovated to include a Cellar Door, commercial kitchen, and restaurant facilities, providing a welcoming and charming atmosphere for visitors.
ThumbPrint Wines produces an impressive range of wine styles, including versatile Chardonnay used in both wooded and un-wooded wines, white wine blends, Vintage Sparkling, and Late Harvest Dessert wine. The Cabernet Sauvignon vines consistently yield a good vintage with soft tannins and berry overtones, and are also used to craft their Rosé. Their Shiraz grapes result in a light to mid-weight wine, rich in flavour with peppery overtones, and are also employed to create a Vintage Fortified Shiraz and a Vintage Sparkling Red.
Visitors can taste ThumbPrint Wines at their charming Ulan Road tasting room.
The indoor tasting room is designed for comfort, while the outdoor seating area boasts stunning views and a relaxing atmosphere. Picnic areas are available for guests to enjoy, adding to the overall charm of the venue.
The cellar door is both family and pet-friendly, and offers wheelchair accessible facilities throughout.
