Eldredge Wines is a boutique producer in Clare Valley, located along the scenic Spring Gully route. Established in 1994, the winery is set within a fully renovated stone cottage, originally built in 1920. With vineyards rising from 440 to 530 metres above sea level, Eldredge produces premium wines that reflect the unique elevation and terroir of the region. The focus is on crafting high-quality, approachable wines using 100% Clare Valley fruit, including Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Sangiovese, Merlot, Malbec, and Riesling.
Over the years, Eldredge Wines has received national and international recognition for its wines, with accolades spanning prestigious wine shows and industry competitions. The winemaking philosophy centres on showcasing varietal and regional character, ensuring that each vintage captures the best of the Clare Valley’s cool-climate growing conditions.
The Eldredge Wines cellar door offers a relaxed and inviting atmosphere, set against the backdrop of rolling vineyards and a large dam. The restored stone cottage provides a warm setting for tastings, with a spacious wooden deck offering views across the Blyth Plains. Visitors can enjoy seated tastings, purchase wine by the glass or bottle, and take advantage of the on-site Providore Store, which stocks a selection of gourmet produce for DIY picnics and platters.
