Alluca Vineyards, located in the Blewitt Springs subregion of McLaren Vale, is a family-run winery dedicated to creating fine wines and offering generous hospitality. The vineyard, home to some of the oldest vines in the region, benefits from a Mediterranean climate, coastal breezes, and elevated terrain, resulting in fruit with delicate varietal and regional characteristics. The cabernet franc vines were planted over 50 years ago, and the shiraz over 25, producing low yields of intensely flavored fruit.
At Alluca, the winemaking process focuses on capturing the natural flavors of the varieties while expressing the unique qualities of the Blewitt Springs terroir. This small-batch, single-vineyard approach is complemented by the family’s deep commitment to quality, creativity, and a connection to the land.
Alluca’s intimate cellar door offers a warm and welcoming environment set amongst beautiful lawns and gardens, overlooking the picturesque vineyards.
