Velo Wines is a historic vineyard located at the gateway to Tasmania's Tamar Valley, with a winemaking legacy that spans over 50 years. Originally known as Legana Estate, the vineyard was established in 1966 by pioneers Graham Wiltshire and Michael Curtis, making it home to Tasmania’s oldest Cabernet Sauvignon vines. Today, the vineyard produces a range of cool-climate varieties, including Pinot Noir, Shiraz, Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, Pinot Gris, and Chardonnay.
Balancing tradition with innovation, Velo Wines continues to evolve under a careful vineyard management strategy that has enhanced both yield and quality.
