Steinborner & Reynolds is a family-owned winery in the Barossa Valley, producing single-vineyard, limited-release wines from the Vine Vale sub-region. With a history that dates back to 1912, the estate’s vineyards are planted on ancient sand-over-clay soils, creating ideal conditions for varieties such as Shiraz, Viognier, Marsanne, Durif, Semillon, and Cabernet. While some of their fruit is supplied to neighbouring wineries, their passion lies in crafting wines that showcase the unique characteristics of their land.
Inspired by the Barossa’s rich heritage and diverse influences, Steinborner & Reynolds balances tradition with a modern global perspective. Their approach to winemaking reflects a deep connection to the land, focusing on small-batch production to create expressive wines that highlight the nuances of each vintage. Through their wines, they aim to share the flavours of the Barossa with family, friends, and wine lovers around the world.
Wine tastings at Steinborner & Reynolds take place in their Vine Vale vineyard or in the working winery shed, offering an authentic and immersive experience. Visitors can taste wines in the very place where the grapes are grown, gaining firsthand insight into the winemaking process.
