Lou Miranda Estate is a family-owned winery in the Barossa Valley, run by sisters Lisa, Angela, and Victoria Miranda in honour of their father, Lou. Their boutique estate is known for its commitment to traditional winemaking and warm Italian hospitality. With 100 acres of estate-owned vineyards, the family nurtures four centenarian vine blocks, the oldest dating back to 1897. This dedication to vineyard management and meticulous fruit selection ensures that every bottle reflects the rich history and premium quality of the region.
The winery produces two distinct ranges: the Leone series, named after their grandmother and featuring a selection of approachable, fruit-driven wines, and the Lou Miranda Estate collection, showcasing super-premium wines crafted from their oldest vines. Both ranges celebrate the heritage of the family’s Italian roots while expressing the bold character of Barossa fruit.
Visitors to Lou Miranda Estate can explore a variety of tasting experiences, all set within a welcoming and family-focused cellar door. Guests can sample wines from the Leone and Estate ranges, or take part in curated experiences such as the Chocolate Sensory Tasting, which pairs wines with handmade Melba chocolates.
