Long Point Vineyard, located in the Hastings River region, is a delightful combination of a traditional vineyard and an art gallery. Established in 1994, the vineyard covers 12 acres, including a homestead, with 5 acres under cultivation. The wines produced at Long Point Vineyard are made from grapes grown on the estate, featuring white grape varietals such as Chardonnay, Frontignac, and Verdelho, and reds like Cabernet, Chambourcin, and Tempranillo. Due to the unpredictable climate of the Mid North Coast, the blends offered by the vineyard may vary from year to year based on the harvest.
The Long Point Vineyard & Art Gallery is not just about wine but also celebrates local artistry. The Long Point Art Gallery showcases the works of talented local artists through a variety of mediums, with exhibits that change bi-monthly. These exhibits are popular among both wine lovers and art enthusiasts. Visitors are encouraged to browse the artwork while enjoying a glass of wine, making it a unique experience that combines the sensory pleasures of art and wine. The vineyard also organizes special artist events, details of which can be found on their Facebook page.
