Douglas Vale Historic Vineyard in the Hastings River wine region is an enchanting blend of history and viticulture. Established in 1862, it stands as the oldest timber homestead in the Hastings region. The property, encompassing a museum, vineyard, and cellar door, has been meticulously restored to showcase its heritage. Visitors can enjoy a variety of experiences, including tours of the homestead and grounds, wine tastings of their heritage wines produced from handpicked grapes, and the option to relax with a cheese plate amidst the beautiful vineyard setting. The vineyard is open to the public every Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10am to 3pm, welcoming larger groups by appointment.
