Juniper is one of the original wineries of Margaret River, with vineyards dating back to 1973. Located in Wilyabrup, the estate is known for its commitment to crafting site-specific wines that reflect the region’s exceptional terroir. Juniper operates three vineyards—Wilyabrup, Karridale, and Metricup Road—each bringing its own unique expression to their wines.
With a focus on sustainability and organic farming practices, Juniper produces a diverse range of wines, from the iconic Cornerstone Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon to innovative small-batch varieties like Fiano and Tempranillo. The Juniper cellar door, set within picturesque gardens along Wilyabrup Brook, offers a welcoming and immersive tasting experience. Guests can explore the estate’s current releases, as well as rare museum wines, guided by a knowledgeable team eager to share the stories behind each bottle.
On select long weekends, Juniper offers wood-fired pizzas to enjoy with a glass of wine by the brook. Visitors are also encouraged to bring their own picnics, making the cellar door an ideal spot to relax and take in the natural beauty of the region.
