Hutton Vale Farm is a multi-generational property located in the Eden Valley, part of the broader Barossa wine region. Established in 1843 by John Howard Angas, the farm has been in the Angas family ever since. Today, seventh-generation siblings Stuart and Caitlin Angas continue the legacy, combining sustainable farming with small-batch winemaking rooted in history and respect for the land.
Hutton Vale Farm specialises in premium, estate-grown wines including Riesling, Shiraz, Grenache and Cabernet Sauvignon. Their vineyard practices reflect a commitment to sustainability, with minimal intervention and a focus on the expression of site. These wines capture the elegance and character that Eden Valley is known for—balanced, aromatic and structured, with the potential to age gracefully.
The Hutton Vale Farm Cellar Door offers a private and immersive tasting experience in a setting rich with heritage and natural beauty. Located on a working farm and surrounded by historic vineyards, tastings are hosted by a member of the Angas family and take place by appointment only. This personalised approach offers a rare insight into both the wines and the family's deep connection to the land.
Guests will taste through the current release wines in a warm and rustic setting, with views over the rolling Eden Valley landscape. This is more than a tasting—it’s a genuine, one-of-a-kind encounter with one of the Barossa’s most storied families.
