Hoffmann Family Vineyards is a sixth-generation family-owned estate in the Barossa Valley, renowned for growing premium Shiraz since the 1880s. With over 135 hectares of vineyards in the Northern Barossa, the family also cultivates Mataro, Grenache, and Cabernet Sauvignon, alongside smaller plantings of rare varieties such as Nebbiolo, Carignan, and Zinfandel. The jewel of the estate, the historic Dallwitz Block, features some of the region’s oldest surviving Shiraz vines, dating back to 1888.
Through a deep understanding of their land, the Hoffmann family employs meticulous vineyard management, treating each block individually to enhance the unique characteristics of their wines. Sustainable farming practices, adaptive pruning, and next-level viticulture techniques ensure the long-term health of the vines and consistency in quality across vintages.
The Hoffmann Family Vineyards Tasting Room offers an exclusive and personalised wine-tasting experience, set in Ebenezer in Northern Barossa. Guests are guided through a private tasting of the estate’s latest releases by knowledgeable hosts, allowing them to explore the depth and complexity of wines crafted from some of the region’s most prized vineyards.
The intimate setting provides an opportunity to learn about the history of the Hoffmann family and their dedication to viticulture, while enjoying wines that reflect the character of their carefully managed vineyards. Tastings are by appointment only, ensuring a relaxed and immersive experience.

Wine tastings at Hoffmann Family Vineyards are available by appointment from Monday to Saturday, between 10am and 4pm. Bookings are recommended to secure a personalised tasting experience, with sessions lasting approximately 90 minutes. Groups larger than six guests should enquire in advance to arrange a tailored visit. For same-day availability, visitors are encouraged to call ahead to check for openings.
