Gralyn Estate has been crafting premium wines in Margaret River since 1975. The vineyard, established by pioneers Graham and Merilyn Hutton, has remained family-owned, with second-generation custodians Annette and Scott Baxter continuing its legacy. Gralyn Estate's wines, sourced from non-irrigated, mature vines, reflect the region’s maritime climate, gravelly loam soils, and long dry summers that contribute to exceptional fruit quality.
The estate has gained international recognition, with its Cabernet Sauvignon being praised by renowned critics and even served in Qantas First Class. Visitors can explore exclusive vintages only available through the landmark cellar door or online, ensuring a truly authentic taste of Margaret River’s winemaking heritage.
Gralyn Estate's cellar door offers a historic and immersive tasting experience. Established as the first cellar door in Margaret River in 1978, it continues to welcome guests with an extensive selection of wines, including aged fortifieds and vintage port styles. The tasting room features a jarrah-timber bar, preserving the charm of its original setup while offering visitors a unique glimpse into the region’s winemaking history.
