Ivanhoe Wines, located in the Hunter Valley, is a well-established winery with a history dating back to 1995. The vineyard features a variety of grape types, including Shiraz, Semillon, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Verdelho, Chambourcin, and Gewürztraminer. With many vines over fifty years old, Ivanhoe’s low-yielding vines produce fruit with rich colors, balanced tannins, and intense flavors that highlight the region’s terroir.
The Cellar Door at Ivanhoe Wines is located on Marrowbone Road and offers visitors the opportunity to sample the full range of wines in a stunning setting. The tasting room, a modern replica of the original Ivanhoe Homestead from the 1800s, is surrounded by breathtaking views of the Hunter Valley. Guests can relax on the verandah and take in the scenic beauty of the Brokenback Range while enjoying Ivanhoe’s premium wines.
