God’s Hill Wines is a family-owned winery in Barossa Valley, founded by Charlie Scalzi in 1998. Drawing from his Italian heritage, Charlie continues a winemaking tradition that has been passed down for generations. The vineyard, located in the Southern Barossa, produces small-batch wines crafted with a focus on minimal intervention and respect for the land. Specialising in Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Chardonnay, God’s Hill Wines reflects both the rich soils of the region and the deep cultural traditions of its founders.
Winemaking at God’s Hill follows time-honoured techniques, allowing the fruit to fully express each vintage. The God’s Hill Wines cellar door, known as “Cantina Scalzi,” offers a relaxed and authentic tasting experience in a picturesque vineyard setting. The atmosphere reflects the warmth of traditional Italian hospitality, where guests are welcomed as friends.
