Flyfaire Wines, located in the Murray Darling region, is a boutique winery cultivating its vineyard at an elevation of 650 meters on granitic soils. This cool climate environment is ideal for growing varieties such as Riesling, Chardonnay, and Merlot. Emerging varieties, including Marsanne, Pinot Meunier, Muscat, and Cabernet Sauvignon, hold promise for future harvests. With handpicked grapes and a focus on minimal intervention, Flyfaire ensures each wine retains its varietal character. Wines are matured in optimal conditions, with some aged in French or American oak barrels and others bottled unoaked to highlight their natural flavors.
The cellar door at Flyfaire Wines offers visitors a chance to explore a range of cool climate wines and offers a variety of tasting experiences. The 'Discover Experience' provides a 30-minute introduction to the winery’s range of wines, while the 'Marc of Flyfaire' experience pairs wine with artisan cheese incorporating wine flour made from the winery’s grape marc.
