Silos Estate offers a unique holiday experience, combining relaxation, wine exploration, and dining. Nestled between the mountains and the coast, the estate features a range of premium wines, emphasizing the distinct characteristics of the Shoalhaven Coast wine region. Situated on approximately 12 acres, the vineyard grows seven varieties of grapes, including Chardonnay, Semillon, and Shiraz, under the Silos Estate brand. The vineyard's non-irrigated approach leverages the local maritime climate, fostering the full development of the grapes' characters.
The historic Cellar Door at Silos Estate, dating back to 1870, welcomes visitors to explore its unique wine offerings. Here, guests can taste wines produced from hand-pruned and picked vines, fermented in stainless steel vats, and matured in oak casks. In addition to its Shoalhaven varieties, Silos Estate introduced the Wileys Creek label in 2007, featuring grape varietals from other iconic Australian wine regions, including Yarra Valley and Hunter Valley, expanding their range to include Gewurztraminer, Riesling, Muscat, and Pinot.
